1. Shipping Charges

• Free Shipping on all prepaid orders.

• A flat shipping charge of ₹200 applies to all Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch

• Orders are processed and dispatched within 4 to 7 business days from the date of order confirmation.

• Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

• Once dispatched, you will receive tracking details via email or SMS.

3. Delivery Timeframe

• Delivery is estimated within 4 to 7 business days after dispatch, depending on the delivery location.

• Remote or rural locations may experience slightly longer delivery times.

• We partner with reliable courier services to ensure safe and timely delivery.

• House of Preeti Mehta is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Address & Delivery Details

• Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete to avoid delays.

• If the courier service is unable to deliver due to incorrect address details or unavailability of the recipient, the order may be returned to us.

• Re-shipping charges may apply for returned shipments due to incorrect address or failed delivery attempts.

6. Order Tracking

• Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS.

• You can use the tracking number to check the status of your shipment.

7. Delayed or Lost Shipments

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

• In the same condition that you received it

• Unworn or unused

• With tags

• In its original packaging

Reverse Pick-ups

• Reverse pick-ups will be assessed on a need basis.

• Sale products are not eligible for reverse pick-up.

Damages

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if:

• The item is defective

• The item is damaged

• You receive the wrong item

Non-Returnable Items

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for sizing or styling concerns.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and inform you whether the refund has been approved or not.

Refund Process

• If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

• Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If we receive the product later than 10 days, we will deduct 12% GST as per government rules.

Exchange Policy

At any time after your purchase, if something isn’t right, we will be happy to exchange it for the correct size, color, or a different style!

Exchanges & Sizing Adjustments

As a young, homegrown brand focused on supporting artisans and the unorganized craft sector, we do not offer refunds due to sizing or styling concerns. Instead, we provide the following options:

• Exchange for a different size, color, or style.

• Alteration of the current piece to match your required measurements at no extra cost.

• A credit note for the value of the product.

Returns Due to Damage or Defect

In the rare event of receiving a defective or damaged product, our return process is simple:

• Ensure the product is unworn, unused, and has the original tags and invoice intact.

• Ship the item back to us within 5 days of receipt at the address below.

• Once we receive the item, it will undergo a quality check. If approved, we will issue a refund or credit note for the value of the product.

Important Notes:

• If the product reaches us after 10 days, a 12% GST deduction will be applied as per government regulations.

• Refunds are only issued for damages or fabric defects at the time of receipt.

• For sizing issues, refunds are not available. Customers can opt for an exchange, alteration, or credit note.

International Orders

We currently do not process refunds for international orders. If your purchase isn’t what you expected, kindly email us at houseofpreetimehta@gmail.com before returning the product.
